Within the tooltip for "Frost Resistant: Spicy Diet" it states that the food makes them feel warm inside so they don't notice the cold. However ingame this effect is shown to only protect against Soggy Feet. Testing reveals that dupes with "Frost Resistant: Spicy Diet" are not immune to Cold Surroundings in any way.
Checking within the code reveals that whilst the food applies "WarmTouchFood", the code for checking whether dupes can feel cold checks to see if the Dupe has the effect "WarmTouch". This small error results in the "Frost Resistant: Spicy Diet" buff correctly applying the Soggy Feet immunity, but failing to provide the Cold Surroundings immunity that would be expected from both the code and the tooltip ingame.
This can be reproduced in any save when Dupes eat Spicy Tofu or Curried Beans in a cold enviroment. They will still recieve the Chilly surroundings debuff when cold, try to warm themselves on heaters, and gain the buff Frost Resitant (which does function as expected) from said heaters.
