Shine bugs die

Wild shine bugs die after a bit. I had 3 wild shine bugs in the starting area, I noticed around cycle 18 that one was missing, on cycle 19 I heard a little cry and another died, and on cycle 21 the last one died. They all appear healthy, that have not been tamed or attacked.

Play a game.
Go to bugs

I can confirm this.  Wild shine bugs seem to need to eat, or they die.

They are also laying eggs(like they are tame?)

Ive been experience this as well - shine bugs are fine until I trap them in a space to grow blossom berries - after a few cycles the shine bug will disappear, but the other wild ones i have not yet 'trapped' in smaller rooms, are just fine - is it something about the size of the room that makes them die? There is NO water, and I'm sure they are not trapped within the walls/doors i've build. Help!
