Sequential Liquid Reservoirs No Longer Decontaminate Water/Polluted Water in a Chlorine Atmosphere

When I first started playing the game a couple years ago, I looked up a way to remove germs from water and found a method of putting three or four liquid reservoirs in a chlorine atmosphere. I believe this was necessary because water in pipes cannot be decontaminated. However, this method no longer seems to work. I feel like I remember liquid flowing through reservoirs briefly appearing in the reservoir, resulting in a continuous 10kg stored as the liquid was piped through. This may mechanically be the cause of the different outcomes since now the liquid seems to flow right from input to output, with no intermediate placement in the reservoir itself. Take that idea with a grain of salt though since I'm not confident that's how the liquid reservoirs used to work.

Steps to Reproduce

I noticed the water not being decontaminated appearing in my current colony in saves Cycle 257 and onwards, so I've included that file and the file from one cycle earlier. The cycle 256 file is from December 18, 2025, so the bug may be caused by some change in the two small updates since then. I've also included a save file from an old colony where I had the same decontamination method, to show that in the current version of the game it no longer works there either. As the germy water flows from the liquid reservoirs to the holding basin I set up, you should notice increasing contamination.

User Feedback

This is a problem with your build. For this setup to work the reservoirs need to be full (one liquid type only), not empty, and the piping set up so they always remain full. The technique is still confirmed working as of the current beta test. Particularly germy liquids (like the Polluted Water Vent) may require four or more reservoirs.
