Seeds disappearing

I'm trying to use pips to make a nature reserve. When the pips take seeds out of a storage bin and try to carry them away, they get stuck. I can't interact with them and they disappear from my resources list. I attached a screenshot of the stuck seed. When I restart the game to try and fix the issue, the seeds are no longer stuck in space, but they are gone.
