I noticed that sometimes when I booted up ONI the save files were old ones from years ago. So I would restart the game and my current one would be back.
Then Yesterday I tried playing on my friends computer using the cloud saves and it was those old ones! "Well bugger this" I said out loud to no one. And deleted them all in hope this would fix the problem.
When I returned home and used my PC I decided to actually pay attention to windows defender and allow folder access so my save would be on the cloud properly and I wouldn't have this problem again. Instead when the games loads 0 saves. I check folders and it's not there either. I can only find it in the colony Summary. RIP The Perfect Cesspool and SNails, my favorite farmer.
Step 1. - have old saves sometimes take over as working file.
Step 2 - Delete all the old saves using the in built save / load system
Step 3 - Your Current save doesn't come back, nothing does.
