In order to keep my laptop from overheating, I've been bumping down to graphic resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 (as well as utilizing lower resolution textures) to ease the strain on the CPU and graphics card. Every time the game autosaves, however, the resolution gets bumped right back up to 1920x1080 (though the texture setting remains the same)DxDiag.txt. It's getting a little irritating resetting it every time...
Steps to Reproduce
- While game is in session, go into pause menu and select "Options"
- Go to "Graphics"
- Check "Lower Resolution Textures" box, and change resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 in dropdown menu
- Resume play until next autosave
