I am the administrator of the biggest Oxygen Not Included community in Korea.
I have been thoroughly enjoying your game and deeply appreciate the creativity and effort behind it.
Over time, I have consistently observed that players are experiencing confusion due to several inaccuracies in the official Korean translation.
Out of my love for the game, I have decided to request corrections for these issues.
I sincerely hope you will consider updating the translations to improve the gameplay experience for Korean players.
Below are the suggested corrections:
1. Electric Grill Tooltip & Information - "Cooks a wide variety of improved Foods."
Current: “복제체의 의류 물품을 만듭니다.”(Clothes) → Suggested: “다양한 식품을 조리합니다.”(Foods)
2. Liquid Pipe Element Sensor Tooltip & Information - Sends a Green Signal when the selected "Liquid" is detected within a pipe.
Current: “기체”(Gas) → Suggested: “액체”(Liquid)
3. Rocket Speed - "~ Tiles per cycle"
Current: “~ 주기당 타일”(a tile per ~ cycles) → Suggested: “주기당 ~타일” or “~타일 (주기당)” (~ Tiles per cycle)
4. Farm Tile & Hydroponic Farm & Planter Box & Hanging Pot & Aero Pot - “Plant” Button
Current: “식물”(plant itself) → Suggested: “심기”(planting)
5. Pipe & Lavatory & Sink Status - Contents: "empty" or "Empty" Pipe
Current: “비우기”(emptying) → Suggested: “비어있음”(empty state)
(Keep “비우기” only for "Empty Storage")
6. Choose a Destination - Scramble DLCs - "Disabled"
Current: “비활성화되지 않음”(not disabled) → Suggested: “비활성화 됨” or “비활성화” (disabled)
7. Geysers Status - "erupts in ~cycles"
Current: “~주기 후 유휴”(Idle after ~cycles) → Suggested: “~후 활동” or “~후 분출” (erupts in ~cycles)
8. Temperature overlay - State Change - “Stable”
Current: “외양간”(cowshed) → Suggested: “안정적”(stable)
9. Room Overlay - Latrine Tooltip - "Using a toilet"
Current: "일보면 사용하면" → Suggested: "일을 보면" or "사용하면"
10. Room Overlay - Park Tooltip - "Passing through natural spaces throughout the day"
Current: "하루 내내 자연 공간을 통과하면"(passing throughout the day) → "자연 공간을 통과하면 하루 내내"
11. Critter Fountain & Water Cooler - "Hydrated"
Current: "수화됨" (sign language) → "수분공급됨" (hydrated)
12. Sauna & Mechanical Surfboard - Status - "Nominal"
Current: "공칭" (I don't know what it means) → "정상" (nominal)
The following two are not mistranslations, but due to their overlap with abbreviations that all of us commonly use, they cause communication difficulties.
Therefore, I would like to request these changes as well, and I sincerely hope you will consider updating them.
1. Gunk (overlap with abbreviation of "polluted water" 오염된 물 ; 오물)
Current : “오물”(sludge, waste) → Suggested: “폐유”(waste oil)
2. Peat (overlap with abbreviation "carbon dioxide" 이산화탄소 ; 이탄)
Current : “이탄”(peat) → Suggested “토탄”(peat)
