I spent some time removing chlorine from gas pockets in order to mine the surroundning coal. I filled 3 gas reservoirs with chlorine, mined the coal, put all the bleach stone in a storage bin and sealed it off in a locked room. I moved on to other parts of the map. After a while some chlorine clouds had reappeared. I filled an additional four gas reservoires but chlorine kept coming. Finally I just built walls around the gas to seal it all in.
There aren't any chlorine geysers, roaming hand sanitizers and the dupes didn't drop bleach stone (maybe once but they picked it up the next morning).

You could venture a couple of screens to the left and up a bit (from starting point). If you run into a "cool" steam geyser/vent you are already wading through misty fields of chlorine. And that's the spot. If you take a look at the screengrab it's to the right of the water filled area.
