Radbolt Engine Automation Port Stays RED Despite Being 100% Full of Radbolts (with Robo Pilot)

Expected (aka normal) behavior:
When the Radbolt Engine reaches 4000 Radbolts stored, its automation port should turn GREEN.

BUG:
During my current playthrough, I’m encountering a recurring bug where the Radbolt engine is full (4000 radbolts), it rejects any new radbolts (they just fly past it) but yet the automation port remains RED.

Possible cause:
Note that I’m using multiple rockets with Robo Pilots all landing/sharing the same platform with “return trip” enabled. The idea is that there are always 2 or 3 rockets in flight to/from POIs and they share the same platform to drop their loot. But sometimes, the rocket platform is occupied and there is a Robo Pilot rocket waiting in space to land. I believe this bug is related to this but I cannot 100% confirm. It seems that if I allocate each rocket to its own dedicated platform, I don't see the bug. But as soon as I share the platform, then the bug appears. But this could just be a coincidence.

Things I tried:

  • When the bug is active, launching the rocket clears the issue. The port returns to normal for now. But then the bug reappears later.
  • Deconstructing the logic circuit and reconstructing it didn't fix the issue. The bug reappeared.
  • Deconstructing the platform and rebuilding it didn't fix the issue. The bug reappeared.
  • Deconstructing the Radbolt Engine and rebuilding it didn't fix the issue. The bug reappeared.
  • While the bug is active, and while a rocket is on the platform and another rocket is in orbit waiting to land, moving the rocket in space to another location does not clear the bug. The port remains RED. Only launching the current rocket clears the bug temporarily.

Note 1: that I'm not using any mods related to rockets or automation.
Note 2: I'm not sure why the image I'm attaching is blurry after uploading it, on my end, it's a full 3840x2160 image in high resolution.

Radbolt Rocket Robo Pilot Bug.jpg

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Build rocket platform.
  2. Build multiple (2 or 3) Radbolt Engine rockets with Robo Pilot.
  3. Launch each rocket with "return trip" enabled to a different space POI.
  4. Build a logic circuit that detects when the Radbolt engine is full (automation port turns green) in order to stop Radbolt production.
  5. Bug appears at some point.

User Feedback

Same issue here, I also have this issue without the Robo Pilot and not using return trips.

Went into sandbox mode to try different things and got it to work somehow after launching and returning a couple of times.

But I never got it to work for newly built rockets.

That's great info. Hope they fix this.
