public test critter age/Neural Vacillator set piece - water underneath it difficult to discover

Playing public test u50. you might want to consider randomizing the age of wild critters when asteroid is visited by dupes.  If pockets of random critters are discovered but not freed often the area is too small and the critters may not produce eggs. Because with the new rules their metabolism slows down and could end up with no eggs being laid.  A compromise could be not creating all wild critters at age zero so the oldest critter might have a chance to lay an egg when others in that pocket die of old age.

Also there is a set piece Neural Vacillator with a body of hidden water under it which is difficult to "discover"/remove the black obfuscation. I could not build a ladder down into it or move a dupe into it.  The way that I discovered it was a bit unusual.  I destroyed the tiles to the left and the water was released. Then I built a cot with some of it's silhouette inside the black area - when dupe built cot the entire area was finally exposed

 


Steps to Reproduce

SWMP-C-716033559-0-3A the Neural Vacillator with water was on bottom right of starter asteroid but because there were actually 2 spawned on the asteroid i destroyed it on my save.  the other Neural Vacillator
