Pneumatic Door Not Attaching To Built Tile

When i started playing the game a few weeks ago everything worked fine however today when I had to restart my colony, there has been a constant issue with ONLY the pneumatic doors. Ill place a door where I want it but it will not attach to the tile to make a room. It is being built behind the tile. I have tried over and over to get it to work however, the airlock doors will attach and create a room. The pneumatic door will open and close when a duplicate gets near it but they aren't even stopping for it to open like it isn't even there.
