pip won't eat/farmer won't stop harvesting arbortree

my pips starve to death even though there are tree branches to eat (they don't eat them), and farmers insist on harvesting tree even when harvesting is disabled. trees are planted in planter box,

save my poor pips!! they're too cute to die!!

Steps to Reproduce
arbor tree planted in planter box, pips in room with them, arbor tree branches harvest ready, harvest disabled. (pips won't eat, farmers insist on harvesting)
Go to bugs

I've got the exact same problem. My pip died. Arbor are here. He doesn't move.

 

SOLUTION : reload the game
