Pathing problems for some terrain within reach

they can be manually directed through the tank and out of the center, but refuse to navigate it on their own. no idea if it's a problem with the ladders or the water, did not try it with an empty tank

the current limit is 6 tiles, without the middle ladder they are perfectly willing to walk from one end of the tank to the other, and collect materials from the center of the water
