Orehulls can become Unreachable

This is a bug that started appearing in the latest patch (737790). I did not experience this bug in the release version of Aquatic Planet Pack or the beta testing.

Orehulls in an aquatic ranch can sometimes gain the 'Unreachable' status, which causes them to freeze in their existing position (with animation still playing) and not respond when a dupe attempts to call them to the Aquatic Ranching Station.

Gaining the Unreachable status also causes them to not count for the Critter Sensor, however they still count towards the Fish Release for some reason. In the following screenshots two of the Orehulls gained the Unreachable status, so the Critter Sensor only counts 5 critters.

This is quite a debilitating bug as a dupe can get stuck at the Aquatic Ranching Station attempting to call an Orehull in Unreachable status forever until they run out of breath, then attempt it again. The only way to break the Orehulls out of Unreachable status is to wrangle and then release them again. Reloading the game does not cause Unreachable to disappear. I have also not experienced this bug with any other critters in the game yet, including those from the Aquatic Planet Pack. If relevant, this save file was created during the release version of Aquatic Planet Pack and later updated to version 737790.

I do not know what specific conditions cause them to gain the Unreachable status, and would appreciate if anyone who has experienced a similar bug could update me on this. At least so far, I can tell laying an egg has no relation to it. Hope this can be addressed soon.

Steps to Reproduce

Attempt to ranch Orehulls in an Aquatic Ranching Station in game version 737790 and they will start to gain the Unreachable status.

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I add my problem here too. Orehull's 2x2 tiles size is messing with their pathfinding. They get entombed even by swimming past a polluted mud tile.

An update to the problems Orehulls are experiencing after making some more observations.

Orehulls that have gained the Unreachable status, if left for too long, will eventually gain the Confined status which causes them to become Miserable, and they are also no longer counted by Fish Release once they are considered Confined. The following screenshot, which is from the same save file as the prior screenshots, shows Orehull that is both Unreachable and Confined and is no longer being counted by the Fish Release, in contradiction with the previous screenshot depicting Fish Release.

Not directly related to the Orehull's Unreachable problem but likely related to its pathing issues introduced in the most recent patch, Orehull can no longer reach a Fish Feeder that is placed with a wall to its right. In the following screenshot (from a different save file, but also from release version updated to patch 737790) you can see a Fish Feeder with Nori loaded but an Orehull (that is not Unreachable) starving because it cannot reach the Fish Feeder.

My strong suspicion is that changes made to Orehull's pathing/hitbox in order to make it groomable by an Aquatic Grooming Station placed with a wall to its right has broken many other aspects of its pathing and resulted in the Unreachable bug as well as the inability to reach Fish Feeder placed with a wall to its right. Hope this can be fixed.
