In a rare scenario, a newly created MoveTo errand won't be executed by the duplicants. Even newly spawned-in duplicants (by using the debug mode) don't consider this errand and stand idle instead of doing it. Setting the errand's priority to top priority doesn't help either. Saving and loading the game resolves the bug.
The game version in which I discovered this bug is U52-623711-SCD. I disabled all mods before reproducing the bug and was able to do so.
Steps to Reproduce
- Enter a save file
- Create a "Move To" errand of some debris (in my case sandstone debris); the mass should be high enough so that the duplicant has to carry it multiple times and can't take all of it at once
- When a duplicant will take a chunk of the material, interrupt him by telling him to move to some location; this will force him to drop the chunk on the ground
- Cancel the "Move To" errand on the initial material chunk that stayed on the ground
Now, if all other duplicants were busy at the moment this happened, the material chunk that was dropped in step 3 will never be moved to the desired location unless the game is saved and loaded.
