When you add something to the Microbemusher queue while a dupe is using it, their animation will stop.
The progress bar continues and once the item has finished creating they will jump from frozen to the end animation.
Steps to Reproduce
Queue up something in the Microbemusher, once a dupe has started making it, queue up something else. Their animation will be frozen though they are still hard at work :)
