Meteor showers missing often when PPP DLC is installed

I'm playing on swampy moonlet start and noticed that when latest DLC is enabled I'm not having any destructive metal meteors showers at all. 

Disabling DLC for that run did not help. Although I got one metal shower they are still happen much more rare than they should.

The only proper solution I is to uninstall PPP DLC from steam (Properties->DLC->remove checkbox). Only after that meteor showers work as before DLC released.

 

P.S. I've already reported similar issue. But now I experimented a little more and found true reason and a fix available to players.

 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start new game in a swampy moonlet cluster and DLC installed. May use Doomsday setting for meteor shower frequency.

2. Observe that meteor showers are irregular. Especially the destructive ones.

Upd.: It seems meteors got randomized instead of alternating. I don't remember seeing in in the changelog, so I thought it's a bug. Probably the game works correctly if that behavior is expected. I still have PPP uninstalled just in case.
