When mealwood plants planted in planter boxes reach a ready-to-harvest state, they will wilt and report a lack of fertilizer. Duplicants will not add fertilizer nor harvest the crop, allowing food supplies to quickly dwindle. Fertilizer (dirt) will still be contained in the planter box.
All growing conditions are met, and ordering duplicants to empty the planter box storage to interact with the planter boxes will prompt them to harvest all of the available crop immediately after, as well as top off the required fertilizer.
Have not tested with other crops or planter types.
Plant mealwood plants in planter boxes atop sandstone tiles in oxygen and carbon dioxide mixed atmosphere. Allow normal going for about 15 cycles before bug appears.
