Lumb cannot walk through opened doors during ranching request, even though the navigation showed it can go through and it clearly can walk past opened doors

User Feedback

Hi, I made an account just to support this - it has happened to me twice now. Reloading the game doesn't seem to have fixed it.
The ranch in which is a problem has two Lumbs, and only one Lumb is affected. I attack the affected lumb and wrangle a new one in as a workaround, but that's not a good one! My other Lumb ranch is totally fine

This is still an active bug and very strange / hard to understand the cause - I made 4 identical ranches, last night in a test sever they were working fine - now they cannot be ranched, well not all of them it seems one or 2 can slip through the open door but the rest cannot be called - this is leading to my dup just standing at the grooming station and repeatedly calling the lumb over to ranch!

So this behavior has always been in the game, however the new designs of lumb ranches leveraging doors as lattices for the vines is making it seem new. Doors are not part of a ranch, which means when a critter walks into an open door, they are no longer in the ranch, and this interrupts the call to groom.

Thanks for this insight Harry! I did realize you can bypass the interrupted call by allowing them to jump through the door, but they have to have at least 2 tiles of space to land on! So this is not as much of a hinderance as I thought it would be
