When you create a vertical ladder since the job update dups seems to dig until they need to build a ladder, stop and wander off, another dup comes up builds the ladder and wanders off where the first dup comes back and digs again one spot then wanders off.
This process is very slow when trying to go vertically.
Some obvious fixes to this would be allow miners to mine all the visible minerals even if it has a construction queued on it and / or allow the digger to build the ladder.
