Game Won't Start

I bought Oxygen Not Included on Steam a couple of days ago and it is refusing to open, I’ve went through all the steps on the support site and have went through the forums but it still refuses to open. I’ve included my system specs and the error box that appears for 1-2 seconds when I hit play. Then when the box disappears Steam switches from “Running” to “Syncing” and then it goes back to saying nothing. So far here are the steps I've went through: I installed Unity, uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice, turned off all security/ad blockers, restarted Steam, updated my drivers, and verified the files via Steam.
