Game freezes computer after a few minutes of playing

Early game (cycle 6). Decent computer (9070xt + 9800x3d) but the game keeps dropping down to around 13fps on the 1% lows every few seconds with noticeable visual micro stutters. It then freezes the whole pc completely and has to be restarted. CPU and GPU useage are quite low, around 30 - 50%. Temperatures fine also.

I have tried all the pre bug report options such as fire walls, virtual memory being 8000mb+ etc.

User Feedback

I don't see anything wrong in the save file (unlikely to have managed anything that early but every now and then someone seems to find a way), Unfortunately there isn't much to go on, the likely culprits to me would be video card settings, likely v-sync or more advanced features like G-Sync (for your card the AMD equivalent I believe is FreeSync) or generated frames (for AMD Fluid Motion Frames) disabling any of those features might reduce the issues you are running into, if nothing else worth a try.

Ok great, thanks for your help. I'll try out different settings in the AMD software and see how it goes.

Just to update this issue, I have disabled iGPU and XMP/EXPO in the bios and no crashes yet, so hopefully it was just that.

Another update. Disabling iGPU and XMP/EXPO did not work. However, just going in to AMD adrenaline and using the recommended settings for ONI from a simple google search seems to have solved the issue. Strangley, having the AMD in game overlay on makes it less laggy. I hope this helps anyone with similar issues.
