Dupes trying to breathe in flowing water

I was playing and two Dupes were digging in some carbon dioxide with small pockets of oxygen. nothing too harmless. they broke through to some water. shortly after when they went to breath because water kept barely flowing over them, while they were trying to breathe, and making the oxygen unavailable they continuously ran back and forth. I assume they were trying to breath the air, but it kept getting covered by the flowing water. needless to say they both died very quickly.
