If an oil well gets disabled while a dupe is trying to release the back-pressure from it, the dupe becomes stuck in a repeated animation trying to start the backpressure release task over and over, with the task unable to progress. I'm currently in the live branch, not the preview branch, I haven't tested it there yet.
This continues until downtime, when the dupe is released from the task (and it gets removed from the task queue completely)
This is probably related to old issues like this: https://forums.kleientertainment.com/klei-bug-tracker/oni/duplicant-stuck-depressurizing-oil-well-details-video-r33717/
which is marked fixed. The behavior seems to have regressed, or wasn't completely fixed back then and this issue has still been kicking around, just harder to hit/notice due to mitigating factors.
Make an oil well, hook it up to water and power and an enabled automation wire/switch. Set it to require back-pressure release, and let a dupe start releasing the pressure. Then disable the oil well.
A spaced-out save is attached that has the necessary bits without any mods turned on. You just need to plonk down a dupe, and wait for the atmo suit to finish filling, then disable the well.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
