In the future when Bionic Dupes ruled and used Meat Bags merely to create Dream Journals and Natural Gas the Meat Bags found a way to fight back! Got to say that this permission issue is probably something that should be looked at. Even though the Bionic Dupe permission is totally restricted from the two doors into the Washroom and Barracks they can actually enter the Washroom and the permissions prevent the Bionic Dupe from leaving the Washroom - so you guys are half way there.
There are three doors in the image provided. Bionic Dupes had permissions configured for full access to the door into the Banquet Hall and no access at all to the doors up into the Washroom and Barracks. The permission settings are ignored or not tested for a Bionic Dupe that is currently outside the structure so able to move into Barracks or Washroom either as a result of a task like a build or by a manual movement command to either location. I suspect maybe permission is only tested on upper tile of door and not both.
Second example:
Experienced another example of door security possibly not behaving as expected. In the Lura greenhouse the flydo entered the upper area where the lura stable area is via the door right of the farming station - which was set to prevent flydo as was the door on the right. There are two water drops that were intended to create a stable and also limit flight of gnats in the breeding room which is technically not a room.
There might be another unplanned critter pathing issue regarding gnat lava. The airlock door only opened when no gnats were in the lura stable using automation with intention to always have one gnat in the stable. But occasionally a gnat might lay an egg while waiting to be consumed by the plant. I was hoping that the hatched lava would path to drop down to the liquid pools by flopping to the farm station and then through the open pneumatic door into the liquid pool below. That pneumatic door was set to be permanently open and does good job of stopping a gnat from flying through it from below, but lava ignores opportunity to flop into pool and flydo ignores the security restrictions on the same door.
