Newly added Critter Pick-Up and reworked Critter Drop-Off both says "Monitoring and drop-off are limited to the specified critters".
Here, both the pick-up and drop-off only have squeaky puft as filter, and the room has 3 critters.
Pick-up works as expected and ignores the puft princess and hatch:
But drop-off does not and counts all 3 of them:
Steps to Reproduce
1. Make a room and build critter pick-up and drop-off, then sepecify any critter.
2. Spawn the sepecified critter and some more.
3. Observe that the pick-up only counts 1 critter while the drop-off counts more than 1
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
