Crash at the Klei logo. Unable to play

Wanted to pick the game back up, has been about a year but can't get past the Klei logo crashes right after.

I haven't tried mods ever and this was a fresh install.

Things I've tried (in no specific order):

Deleting "mods" file

Verifying Game files

Reinstalling the game

Deleting every file relating to the game and then reinstalling

Running Steam as Admin

Running ONI as admin

 

Any help would be appreciated, Thank you

 

 

Steps to Reproduce

Open the game with steam or via .exe

Go to bugs

User Feedback

Your Player.log says it can't initialize Steam. Could you double check that your Steam client is up to date?

My steam hasn't allowed me to update for a long time (says it has been blocked) It's never gotten in my way before, so I've never thought anything of it. I'll try find a work around.
