Corpses drain water, a lot.

So I whilst trying to convince my colonists to build a water source, 12 of the died from starvation because they're too stupid to do as they're told.

One of them died on a ladder and fell to the bottom of the prospective water source for purification, and subsequently drained it all.

I've attached an image that shows the water flowing directly into his corpse.
