See attached picture. When a basket in the top red square enters the conveyor rail just before the conveyor bridge (i.e. the rail where the input port of the bridge is), the material carried in the basket will instantly be rendered at the output port (bottom red square), while the basket continues at the normal speed. When the basket exits the bridge, the material is carried along the rail as normal.
Steps to Reproduce
1) Build conveyor bridge with input and output rails.
2) Have material cross the bridge.
3) Observe material breaking the law of causality by appearing at the output port before its basket.
