contaminated water destroyed by gas

When the contaminated water destroys rock and it is pooled around it; the game reads that as a ledge and destroys the contaminated water possibly destroying the whole pool above it. Also, it could could being reading it as gas is the ledge. For example I had a combined pool at the bottom of the map full of contaminated water and within about 10 seconds all of that collected water was gone.
