Conductive wires aren't connected together when placing a template, unlike normal wire.
TemplateLoader.PlaceUtilityConnections has cases for "Wire", "InsulatedWire", and "HighWattageWire", but not "WireRefined" and "WireRefinedHighWattage".

Place a template that uses conductive wire, for example poi/poi_jungle_lab_daytimer.yaml.
