Conduction panel infinite cooling on right edge of map.

Oh Hi Mark
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Fixed

When placing conduction panels at the right-most edge of the map, conduction panels will read their temperature as absolute zero (-273.2 C) regardless of how much liquid has passed through them. They significantly cool any liquid passing through. This could be used as an infinite source of free cooling.

After some testing, I can't replicate the event on the left side, only the right. Also, when pausing, the displayed temperature will change to a warmer (but still very cold, ~ -200 C) value, but revert to absolute zero when unpausing. The warmer temperature does not seem to change even after a significant amount of liquid has passed through the panel. I tested using a large vat of super coolant and ran it for over ten cycles. I imagine that they are interacting with either neutronium or some other material off screen. I have only tested this in the base game; I don't know if it happens in the DLC.

Steps to Reproduce

Construct a conduction panel with one side occupying the right-most space on the map. Temperature will read absolute zero and cool any liquid going through it.
