So I played a game all the way through cycle 151, which by then I had about 10 cool vests, so I assigned them to my people, however when I realized I had played wrong, I reloaded back to cycle 145 and now as the picture shows, I have 1 cool vest but somehow about half of my dupes have a cool vest assigned. I don't know if they still enjoy the effects of the clothing (the dupe stats and other information is extremely difficult to discern) but oh well.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create X amount of clothes on turn Y 2. Reload game on turn Y-5 (for example) 3. Profit....?
