Circuit overload damage occurs at the weakest point. If regular wire are present with conductive wires, conductive wires will never get damaged regardless of load. An exploit would be a single wire bridge connecting to nowhere in a circuit of conductive wires, preventing everywhere else from overload.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Build a circuit using conductive wires.
2. Build a (non-conductive) wire bridge connecting one end to the circuit (and connect the other end to anywhere else).
3. Overload the circuit.
4. Circuit with overload runs properly, damaging only the wire bridge which is insignificant.
