Cannot rename (add letters) to the name of storage containers

When editing the name of a container (Ration Box or Storage Bin), I am unable to add any letters to the name. I can remove letters, however.
This issue is not present on dupes, I can rename them normally.
I can also type in anything else (Element Filter search box, Research window search box, building window search box or Database search box)

I have started a new game without mods, issue persists.
I have reinstalled the game and unsubscribed from mods, deleting everything in %appdata% as well, issue persists.
New save games under above mentioned conditions, issue persists.
