When you directly connect a floor of hydroponic tiles with each other in a sucessive fashion, the water output of a single pump gets sucked up by the first Tiles with plants (with an occacional drip to the 3rd tile) when watering them with clean water.

place a row of hydroponic tiles connect them with pipe from left to right and connect a water pump with clean water. first 2 planted tiles (bristle berry) sucked up all the water there was
