This dupe eventually wound up dying despite running through a fully oxygenated area. The issue is that they prioritize canister consumption over inhaling to the point where they will hold their breath and die while trying to get to the canister.
I understand prioritizing oxygen canisters in situations where the player may want to have those be used instead of oxygen being inhaled, but this was a random canister that dropped near an atmo station dock, resulting in a dupe willing to hold their breath to run across the map to it.
Have a bionic dupe who's oxygen tank is running low while there is an oxygen canister on the map. The dupe will refuse to breath even at the risk of death.
Forcing another dupe to empty the canister releases the prioritization and the dupe will instead breath again.
