1. Aquatic creature detection extends beyond the actual pool boundaries

The game's detection of whether a pool contains aquatic creatures appears to incorrectly extend two tiles horizontally from a water tile. Based on my testing, this behavior depends on the order in which rooms and creatures are created or updated. I have not tested whether the same issue occurs vertically, but it may behave similarly.

As shown in Figure 1, the topmost water tile on the left incorrectly counts the Fish Eggs located two tiles to its left and right as being inside the pool. However, according to the room overlay, the pool itself contains only 12 water tiles, and the tiles containing those Fish Eggs are filled with gas rather than liquid.

In Figure 2, the behavior is normal: within the same 12-tile pool, only the actual submerged Puft Fish (or other aquatic creature) is counted as being in the water.

2. The bug can be reproduced consistently based on the order in which aquatic creatures enter the room

This bug can be reproduced reliably depending on the order in which Fish Eggs enter the room or the pool.

As shown in Figure 3, when two Gulp Fish Eggs are transported into the room via the conveyor rail before entering the pool, the pool correctly reports that it contains no aquatic creatures.

Then, as shown in Figure 4, when a third Fish Egg is delivered directly into the pool through the conveyor at the lower left, the pool correctly reports one aquatic creature.

However, if a Fish Egg enters the pool before the others, the bug occurs.

As shown in Figure 5, when the first Fish Egg enters the water, the pool correctly reports one aquatic creature.

Then, as shown in Figure 6, another Fish Egg that enters the room but remains outside the water is nevertheless incorrectly counted as an aquatic creature inside the pool.

This behavior appears to depend entirely on the order in which the Fish Eggs enter the room and the pool, making the issue consistently reproducible.
