Game Crash Competing Bids

I was doing the Competing Bids quest. I capture the bounty and was going to finished the quest, but some one at the location hated me. I provoke him into a fight and the bounty join his side. I ended up killing both of them(I had the Booster Clamp so they couldn't surrender). When I try to finished the quest the game thinks the bounty is still alive and will crash. I think it had something to do with making the bounty dislike me, but because they are dead the game will crash instead. Also the game save after I kill the person I provoke, so am soft locked and had to abandon the run.
