I can't read Message in a Bottle

So i don't know exactly what is happening. I found a message in a bottle in don't starve shipwrecked, when i read it, Wilson opens the bottle and take out the map then just disappered. It supposed to show you the location of the treasure, but it not showing me it. I don't have error or enything, after that i can still play normaly. When i start to move Wilson put the map back to the bottle and i can see him again. Can somone help me out with it ?
