I started a fresh game of Reign of Giants with Hamlet compatibility enabled. The session lasted less than an in game day because during the evening phase the game crashed on me while I was walking in the deciduous tree biome just close to the starting area following the paved road. I didn't do anything special: just collecting mats laying around and cutting a couple trees and mining a couple rocks. I crafted and used a couple times both a axe and a pickaxe but didn't craft anything else.
