high grass/regular grass - intended?

After digging out tall grass tufts, planting them on a "civilised" grass turf results i having a regular grass instead. Also, planting them on "tropical forest" grass turf, will result in them being already fertilized - no need to fertilize them to start growing.

Both might be intended tbh
