Xbox controller does not work on macbook

xbox controller worked well on the steam big picture mode, but it was completely unrecongnizable in the DS, and the DST had the same problem. 

xbox controller works fine on terraria, by the way.

Steps to Reproduce

Try using the xbox controller to play DS with the macbook m1.

Same thing here tried using Xbox x controller on DST and it doesn’t show up in the device input options. Controller worked fine in big picture
