When holding the brush, you can't mount on beefalo.

WHen equipping the brush, you cannot mount on your beefalo by right click.

THis problem does not exist when you are holding a saddle horn.

Steps to Reproduce

Equip a brush and see you cannot mount beefalo by right click.
