Previous bug report:
It looks like this has been partially fixed: it will still occur but only if you take off moggles/cowl while the lightning strike is happening. The world will otherwise go dark after equipping the hat and taking it off again.
Steps to Reproduce
Take off moggles/cowl during a lightning strike.
