Nintendo Switch - Any interaction with crabbit traps causes blue screen of death error

Interacting with a trap in Any Way. I've tested making one, setting one down from inventory, even picking one up from a skeleton set-piece. Any interaction with a trap causes a blue screen of death error screen which requires the game to be shut down and reloaded, and erases progress.
