This was addressed in a previous bug report:

but it appears the issue can still occur, at least with the Jeweled Truffle, in the latest version (550861):

World was generated in this version. No issue with Blue Sow in this save.

Steps to Reproduce

Generate a new world, and find the room containing the Jeweled Truffle.
