I can't kill the big tentacle and I skip a season by entering the Caves

I can't kill the big tentacle, I tried to leave and enter the Caves but it did not work.

 

Moreover, I skip a season by entering the Caves : Winter to Spring. My birchnut trees are leafless and it constantly rains.

Steps to Reproduce

I tried to kill a tentacle as Wendy and with Abigail. 

 

I only entered the Caves the 20th day.
