This is an issue I've experienced for some time playing with the Console Edition on Xbox (I have both Hamlet & Shipwrecked installed). Playing again after a hiatus.
A save will work fine for a few days, but at a point the game will stop loading the save. The experience is to select the save slot, a loading screen will appear, as it does attempt to load. Then the game fully crashes back to the Xbox home screen.
Unfortunately there is no error message with the crash. Wondering if it's length of 'days survived' related? I seem to be able to play past the first cycle of seasons, load issue seems to happen on a save which I'd survived past that.
Love the game very much, otherwise!
- Have an existing save file that uses the Hamlet expansion
- Select the Play button from the title screen of the game
- Select the existing save from the Choose a Slot modal
- Select the Continue button
A loading screen appears, then after several seconds, the game crashes, returning the user to the Xbox home screenÂ
