friend sound is tied to background music setting

in DS no dlc, when you give a pig meat it makes a sound. well it turns out, if you like having your music turned way down then you won't hear this sound because for some terrible reason it's under that setting.

i also suspect the deerclops warning is tied to this setting because i did NOT hear him coming.
